9-year-old girl, 2 men shot near Compton fish market

COMPTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A 9-year-old girl and two men were shot Monday near a fish market in Compton.

The two men were shot at about 8 p.m. at South Central Avenue and West Alondra Boulevard. The child was shot less than 1/4-mile away near South Hillford Avenue and Reeve Street.

Witness Cynthia Tresvant said she saw the two victims bleeding at the fish market and then two suspects flee the scene.

All three were rushed to a hospital. The child suffered non-life threatening injuries. The two men were in unknown condition.

No suspects have been taken into custody, Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies said.

It is unclear if the shooting was gang related.
