Runaway cow in Perris looked like scene out of Western movie

PERRIS, Calif. (KABC) -- There was "udder" chaos in Perris with a scene straight out of a Western movie.

People on horseback tried to tried to lasso a runaway cow. It's not clear how the cow got away but the chase was on for about two hours.

After countless evasive maneuvers, the chase was eventually called off to prevent the cow from walking onto the busy highway 74.
