Search underway for 2 burglary suspects in Cypress

CYPRESS, Calif. (KABC) -- A search was underway in Cypress for two burglary suspects who fled on foot after crashing at the end of a short pursuit Tuesday morning.

The incident started as a burglary at the Radio Shack near Walker Street and Lincoln Avenue. The suspects crashed their car into a pole after a short chase, causing the vehicle to overturn and land on the sidewalk in front of a home near Bishop and Walker streets.

According to a witness, police took one suspect into custody, and two other suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. No suspect description was immediately available.

It was not immediately known if anything was taken from the store. The investigation is ongoing.
