Deputy shoots knife-wielding suspect in South El Monte

SOUTH EL MONTE, Calif. (KABC) -- An L.A. County Sheriff's deputy out of the Temple City station shot a knife-wielding suspect in South El Monte Thursday morning.

The shooting was nonlethal and authorities were able to take the male suspect into custody in the 2600 block of Rosemead Boulevard.
