LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- One person was killed and another was wounded in a shooting at a downtown Los Angeles apartment complex Saturday afternoon.

Authorities said around 2:15 p.m. a shooting occurred at the Gas Company Lofts apartment complex in the 800 block of S. Flower Street. The wounded victim was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.

A perimeter was set up around the complex as police searched for the suspect or suspects.

No further information was immediately available.
