EAST LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The nation's largest and oldest Latino parade winds through the streets of East Los Angeles this weekend.

The 70th annual East L.A. Mexican Independence Day Parade, hosted by Danny Romero and Jovana Lara, begins at Mednik Avenue and rolls down Cesar Chavez Avenue, right through the heart of East L.A., and then runs all the way to Gage Avenue.
This year's grand marshal is producer, singer and actor Fernando Allende. The parade festival will be right around the corner from where the parade starts, along Mednik Avenue from Cesar Chavez Avenue to 1st Street. The festival will feature all kinds of fun, food and entertainment.
