WILLISTON, Fla. (KABC) -- A Williston, Florida, couple found something unusual as they made omelettes last Sunday morning.
Inside the carton, they discovered a perfectly spherical egg -- a find that retired high school science teacher, Steve Holloway, had never even known was possible.
"When I saw it, it was a perfectly round egg. I said 'Tammi, don't drop it,'" said Holloway.
Poultry experts say, the chances of finding a perfectly round chicken egg are one in a billion.
Holloway says spherical eggs have sold online for hundreds of dollars.
He hopes he can make some money off the rare find.
