"Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro arrested, suspected of driving while intoxicated on 10th Avenue

NEW YORK (KABC) -- "Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro was arrested in New York, suspected of driving while intoxicated.

According to the New York City Police Department, 37-year-old Valastro was pulled over in his 2014 yellow Corvette around 1 a.m. on 10th Avenue.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated after failing a field sobriety test and will be arraigned Thursday, police said.

Valastro, known as the "Cake Boss," is a bakery owner based in Hoboken with six other locations. He stars in a reality show, "Cake Boss", based on his business that airs on TLC.
