LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- 'Dancing With The Stars' saluted Disney Monday night. The nine remaining celebrities performed to songs from Disney classics.
The judges' hearts melted over a performance featuring a song from animated film "Frozen." That was one of several high scores during Monday night's show, but the elimination at the end of the show was based on the prior two weeks of judges' scores and viewer votes. That knocked out the season's youngest star.
This season's fourth team out: teenage pop star Cody Simpson and his partner Witney Carson.
"It's a beautiful experience. It's a once in a lifetime experience, something that I went into wanting to become a better dancer, more well-rounded dancer," said Cody.
Their "Lion King" inspired dance won't get them the "dancing" crown, but Cody said it's been amazing.
Bragging rights for the first perfect score of the season go to James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd for their contemporary dance to "Let It Go" from "Frozen."
"That's pretty awesome," said Maslow. "We're both blown away, but I know, we, at the same time, don't want to get too excited because now we have to match that. It's only week five."
And those 10s didn't come easy. Maslow's toes needed taping due to big blisters.
Danica McKellar and Val Chmerkovskiy quickstepped their way to second place with an almost perfect score of 39 for their "Beauty and The Beast"-inspired number.
"I was hoping for one 10. I was hoping so much for just one 10 and then we got three," said McKellar.
Channeling "Mary Poppins," Charlie White and Sharna Burgess tied for third place with Amy Purdy and Derek Hough as Cinderella and Prince Charming.
"We wanted it to be simple, it's such a beautiful, kind of vintage Disney song, and we didn't have animation," said Burgess.
One point away with 36, Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy tied for fifth with Nene Leakes and Tony Dovolani.
"I said to Tony in rehearsal that I only wanted to get one nine, and we got four, so that was so awesome, now I want to kill it next week," said Leakes.
"The Little Mermaid", Candace Cameron Bure, swam to seventh place with Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke at the bottom.
Next week's theme is party anthems. Redfoo from LMFAO will be the guest judge.
