'Echo Park' is a small-budget film with high hopes

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- In "Echo Park," the two main characters are facing big changes in their lives: He's unhappy with his career, and she's unhappy with her relationship.

It's a small-budget film with high hopes -- made by a first-time film director.

"Echo Park" will be in theaters and on Netflix on April 15.
