LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Kesha has filed a lawsuit against music producer Dr. Luke alleging sexual abuse.

The complaint includes accusations of sexual assault and battery, sexual harassment, gender violence and infliction of emotional distress.

The 27-year-old singer, whose full name is Kesha Rose Sebert, claims she was drugged, raped and abused "physically, verbally and emotionally" by her music producer over the course of a decade.

According to the complaint obtained by Eyewitness News, Kesha says Dr. Luke "induced" her to drop out of high school at the age of 18 and leave behind her life in Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a music career in Los Angeles.

"Dr. Luke abused Ms. Sebert in order to destroy her self-confidence, self-image, and self-worth so that he could maintain complete control over her life and career," the complaint said.

Dr. Luke's music companies are also named in the lawsuit for allegedly knowing about the allegations and engaging "in efforts to cover up his conduct."

Kesha wants to get a judge to release her from a contract with Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald.

Dr. Luke filed a lawsuit in New York calling the claims defamatory and an attempt to extort him to give Kesha a better record deal.
