Lil' Kim posts photos of baby Royal Reign on Instagram

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Rapper Lil' Kim gave the world its first partial glimpse of her newborn daughter on Instagram.

Lil' Kim posted photos on the Fourth of July of her baby girl's dainty footwear.

"Look who is stepping out today for the 4th of July. Happy Independence Day from my blessing, Royal Reign, and us!!! #royalreign #happy4thofjuly#independenceday #lilkim #fireworks #blessing," she wrote.

Royal Reign was born June 9 in New Jersey. She weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Royal Reign is Lil' Kim's first child.

Lil' Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, announced her pregnancy in February. She has never confirmed the identity of Royal Reign's father.
