'Young and the Restless' actor beating suspects identified
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- The suspects who allegedly ran down "Young and the Restless" actor Corey Sligh with a car and beat him on Thanksgiving have been identified.
Police said 26-year-old Dusan Lilic and 23-year-old Nikola Ilic were behind the brutal attack in the parking lot of a Rite Aid in West Hollywood.
Sligh, 27, is recovering at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being treated for multiple injuries, including a broken arm.
The incident occurred after the actor, who was with his girlfriend, told an alleged reckless driver who was speeding and doing donuts in the parking lot to slow down.
LAPD Detective Kevin Becker said two men were "driving, playing recklessly with their car" when Sligh yelled at them to stop.
"So I just went up to them and said, 'Look guys, they're calling the cops, you guys gotta get out of here.' And then he looked me dead in the eye, and kicked his door open into my chest. So I just started to walk off," said Sligh.

Authorities said Lilic then drove the car right into Sligh. His passenger, Ilic, got out and began beating the actor.
The two suspects fled the scene but crashed their vehicle nearby. A witness helped police locate the suspects.
Ilic was arrested for battery and being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. Lilic was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and held in lieu of $85,000 bail.
Sligh and his girlfriend, Alisa Berhorst, were heading to Rite Aid to bring a Thanksgiving dinner to people they know who had to work on the holiday, according to a post on his Instagram page.
"I'm just truly thankful I'm alive," Sligh said.
