Possible fentanyl overdose leaves 1 dead, 1 in critical condition in Fontana

FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- Investigators believe a fentanyl overdose left one person in critical condition and another dead Friday in Fontana.

Police found two men unresponsive in a garage when they responded to the scene.

Emergency crews were only able to revive one of them upon arrival. The subjects were taken to a local hospital where one was pronounced dead.

A hazmat team was brought in as a precaution.

The investigation is ongoing.
