LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A brush fire on the 60 Freeway at Whittier Boulevard Sunday morning briefly shut down lanes in both directions, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A SigAlert was issued at about 10:45 a.m. All lanes were initially closed in both directions.

By about 11:40 a.m., all lanes were cleared and reopened.
