Fullerton officer-involved shooting reported near airport

FULLERTON, Calif. (KABC) -- An officer-involved shooting took place in Fullerton late Sunday evening, according to officials.

The California Highway Patrol said the shooting happened in the 140 block of North Pritchard Avenue, near the Fullerton Municipal Airport, at about 10:40 p.m.

The Fullerton Fire Department confirmed it responded to the scene.

The Fullerton Police Department said the CHP was handling the investigation.

Details surrounding the shooting were not available from officials.
