LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man who hires the homeless to star in his movies has made several films, and now there's one being made about him.
This story dates back to when director Adam Rifkin hired a teenager named Giuseppe Andrews as one of the stars of 1999's "Detroit Rock City."
Andrews doesn't act much anymore. He'd rather make movies. He lives in a trailer park and befriends the residents and the homeless, convincing them to be in all of his movies.
Since Andrews' story is so unusual, Rifkin decided to make a movie about him.
