Houston's girl's goose scare goes viral

HOUSTON -- A Houston-area girl got quite a scare from a mother goose over the weekend. Her neighbor snapped photos of the scary incident, which her sister tweeted and have since gone viral.

Five-year-old Summer Gidden is pictured in the photos. According to her sister, Stevie, Summer came across an injured gosling on Sunday and was tending to it. That's when the territorial mother goose went after Summer.

One neighbor snapped the photos, while another fought off the goose. Stevie posted the pictures on her Twitter account. As of Wednesday morning, the photos had more than 47,000 retweets and 62,000 likes.

Summer suffered a few scratches, but was otherwise fine.
