The event will feature a special "SpongeBob SquarePants" installation, which brings to life fan-favorite SpongeBob characters and iconic Bikini Bottom places through an illuminated pumpkin display, as well as an Are You "Afraid of the Dark?" pre-show tent space to include twisted surprises!

Admission to the festival is free, with tickets required for various activities. Attendees enjoy activities like: free performances, pumpkin patch, pony rides and bouncers. All proceeds benefit Kidspace Children's Museum's Kidspace For All programs, which provide free and reduced price admission for nearly 80,000 children and families from under served communities.

Did you know that Calabasas got its name from the Spanish word "Calabaza" meaning "pumpkin"or "gourd"? Local legend has it that in the late 1700's, explorer Juan Bautista de Anza was traveling through the area now known as Calabasas when suddenly, his wagon full of pumpkins overturned. A few months later, the area saw its first pumpkin patch!
