HIGHLAND PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police are asking for the public's help to track down whoever shot and killed a 19-year-old in Highland Park.
Patrol officers from LAPD's Northeast Division responded to a call about a suspicious death in the 4700 block of North Figueroa Street shortly after noon on Sunday.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man inside a tent suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators later identified the man as Michael Tarin.
Tarin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motive behind the killing was not known.
