WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect who held up an Islands restaurant in Woodland Hills Sunday night.

The robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. as five employees were closing up the restaurant on the 23300 block of Mulholland Drive. Police say one of the employees went outside of the building in the back when he was confronted by the suspect, who was armed with a gun.

The suspect brought the employee back into the restaurant, ordered everyone into the office and told the manager to open the safe. The suspect fled the scene with about $4,000. No one was injured.

Police say the suspect was wearing all black and had a black bandana over his face.
