Kid Rock surprises fan at birthday party

TOLEDO, Ohio -- A Kid Rock fan who has Down syndrome received the best gift ever for his 30th birthday.

Dan McGurk of Toledo, Ohio, uploaded a YouTube video invitation to his favorite rock star to come to his birthday bash this past Monday.

McGurk thought it was a long shot and that Kid Rock would dismiss it like all the others he gets.

On the day of McGurk's birthday party, in walks Kid Rock. And he didn't come empty-handed.

"He got me lots of stuff. He got me a hat. He got me a couple of his stuff, like, he got me a picture frame and signed my book," McGurk said,

Kid Rock also brought tickets to one of his upcoming concerts, and he sang "Happy Birthday" to him.
