Kim Kardashian West auctioning clothes to benefit Children's Hospital
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Kim Kardashian West is putting her fame to use for a good cause this week, auctioning some of her wardrobe with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
The eBay auction includes clothes and accessories from designers like Vera Wang, Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo and others.
The woman who is most famous for being famous is also gracing another magazine cover this week, but this time one that looks at her business acumen.
Forbes magazine placed Kardashian West on its list of highest-earning celebrities, noting that she pocketed $45 million from her blockbuster app game.
In "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" players create their own celebrity, befriend Kim and work their way to the A-list. The app's been downloaded 45 million times and generated $160 million since June 2014 - with $45 million of that going to its namesake.
Kardashian West was No. 42 on the magazine's latest annual list of the 100 highest-paid celebrities. Topping the chart was Taylor Swift, at $170 million, followed by boy band One Direction with $110 million.
