Man fatally shot in Koreatown

KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man was fatally shot in Koreatown in what Los Angeles police believe is a gang-related shooting.

The shooting occurred around 1 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of St. Andrews Place and Eighth Street.

The suspect fled the scene in a gold or tan 1990s Toyota Camry. A handgun was recovered at the scene, but it was unclear if the gun belonged to the victim or suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
