La Habra police investigating suspicious death

LA HABRA, Calif. (KABC) -- The body of a woman was found behind a carport in La Habra Monday morning. The case was being investigated as a suspicious death.

A resident told police he found the body at an apartment complex in the 900 block of South Idaho Street at about 4:30 a.m. The resident was out walking his dog, when the dog led him to the body.

La Habra police say the body appeared to have been intentionally hidden with foliage, and may have been in the area for several days.

No information on the victim has been released. The cause of the death is under investigation. Anyone with any information was urged to contact La Habra police.
