19-year-old dies after crashing into wall in La Palma

LA PALMA, Calif. (KABC) -- A 19-year-old man was killed after crashing his 2000 Honda Accord into a block wall at the rear of a residence in La Palma Tuesday night.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Windsong Avenue and Moody Street at 7:51 p.m.

Kevin Rosales of Buena Park was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators were working to determine if the rain played a role in the crash.

The northbound and southbound lanes of Moody Street were temporarily blocked off following the crash.
