LA County deputies share experience of helping stranded woman on Lancaster after motorized scooter loses power

LANCASTER, Calif. (KABC) -- Two sheriff's deputies in Lancaster went the extra mile to get a woman and her wheelchair back home.

Deputies Shane Chapman and Steven Montanez helped the woman out physically, pushing her broken electric wheelchair back home.

The woman was about a mile from home when the chair lost power. That's when the deputies came to her rescue.
