OC pet dog Leeloo will live in wolf sanctuary

A pet dog who is nearly all wolf named Leeloo will not be put down thanks to the help of social media.

Leeloo was seized from her Huntington Beach home in June after she bit her owners' friend's 5-year-old daughter.

DNA results revealed Leeloo was almost pure wolf, and so she faced euthanasia. But an outcry on social media saved her life.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife allowed her to be released to a wolf sanctuary instead.
