Lisa Edelstein is married! 'House' star weds Robert Russell

LOS ANGELES -- "House" alum Lisa Edelstein is married!

The 48-year-old actress wed Robert Russell, a 42-year-old artist, on Sunday, May 25. Edelstein confirmed the news the following day on her WhoSay page, alongside a photo of the two in their wedding attire.

"Since it seems the word is out, let me just say: this happened yesterday. Xxxx," she said.

This marks the first marriage for Edelstein, who has been linked to Russell for more than three years.

The actress is best known for her past role as Dr. Lisa Cuddy, a love interest of main star Dr. Gregory House, on the FOX medical dramedy series "House," which aired between 2004 and 2011. She went on to appear on shows such as "The Good Wife," "Scandal" and "Castle" and provides the voice of Kya in the animated series "The Legend of Korra." She can be seen next in the Bravo series "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce," which is set to premiere next year.
