
Seahawks capitalize on Rams' turnover, extend lead
Seattle has capitalized on a Rams' fumble early in the third quarter. After the turnover, Sam Darnold threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to extend Seattle's lead to 24-13.

The Rams' season ended with a heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship game on Sunday.
Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns. That was enough to give Seattle the 31-27 win.
Late in the game, with Los Angeles facing fourth-and-4 at the Seattle 6, coach Sean McVay elected to go for it and Matthew Stafford's pass was broken up in the end zone by Devon Witherspoon.
The Rams didn't get the ball back until there were 25 seconds left, and Puka Nacua was tackled inbounds near midfield on the final play.
Seattle will face the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.

The Rams have yet to score a touchdown against the Seahawks, but Rams kicker Harrison Mevis has so far made two field goals. His 50-yard field goal to start the second quarter cuts Seattle's lead to 10-6.
