Rams' season ends after loss to Seahawks in NFC championship game

Rams head coach Sean McVay, receiver Davanta Adams, quarterback Matthew Stafford and other players reacted to L.A.'s emotional loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

"We came here with the expectation to win. We had our chances. They made their plays," McVay told reporters. "It was a great back-and-forth game by two great teams, but a couple critical errors ended up costing us. Love this team. It's one of my all-time favorites. I'll be honest with you guys right now, I'm pretty numb."

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Los Angeles Rams and will face the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.

It was a back-and-forth game but the Rams' defense was unable to contain Seattle's offense.

Both offenses have left each team's defenses scrambling. Seattle leads 31-27 heading into the fourth quarter.

After Cooper Kupp caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Sam Darnold, Puka Nacua caught a 34-yard pass from Matthew Stafford for a touchdown.

The Rams cut Seattle's lead again in the third quarter after Matthew Stafford threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Davonte Adams. L.A. trails 24-20.
