City of Malibu: Watch out for debris, flooding along PCH
People living in Malibu are being asked to continue watching out for debris and flooding along Pacific Coast Highway.
The city issued an update Sunday morning, saying that city streets, canyon roads and PCH are open, but to be careful.
"Continue to be prepared for mudslides, debris flows, rocks, & water in all recent burn areas, especially in canyons," read the update posted on the city's website. "1/2 inch per hour can trigger debris flows."
The city is also asking residents to be prepared for any potential power and traffic signal outages.
It also shared an updated list of locations where people can get sandbags, noting that all Los Angeles County fire stations have sandbags and that some have sand.
