LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A motorcycle rider and a pedestrian died from injuries sustained in a crash in Long Beach Thursday night.
According to Long Beach Police, officers and paramedics responded to a collision scene at Ocean Boulevard and 9th Place at about 9:45 p.m. It was determined a motorcycle, a pedestrian and another vehicle were involved in the crash.
The motorcycle driver was thrown into opposing traffic and was struck. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A female pedestrian was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The incident was under investigation.
