Made in America festival: Day 2 features Kanye West, Steve Aoki

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Rapper Kanye West wrapped up the second day of the Made in America music festival Sunday at Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles. It was the moment thousands of people had been waiting hours for.

His performance capped off the festival, which was held for the first time in Los Angeles. Rapper Jay-Z started the festival in Philadelphia in 2012, but made it a bi-coastal event this year with the help of Mayor Eric Garcetti.

The artists, handpicked by Jay-Z, including Rise Against, Rita Ora, Scavenger Hunt, Terraplane Sun, SZA, Mutemath, Nipsey Hussle, Chance the Rapper and Juanes.

The crowd rocked out to Weezer earlier in the day, and Cypress Hill entertained their fans with the songs that launched their career 23 years ago.

Garcetti took to the stage Sunday night during Steve Aoki's set, donning a plain T-shirt.

Over 37,000 people turned out on the second day of the two-day concert. There were three felony arrests Sunday, two of them drug-related. Another two people were arrested for parole violations, 10 were cited for alcohol-related offenses, and three were accused of battery or other misdemeanors.

Eleven people were treated for alcohol-related problems and released. Two others were transported to a local hospital.

Ten people were ejected from the festival grounds for various reasons and 41 traffic citations were issued outside the venue.

Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar and Iggy Azalea were among the performers in Los Angeles Saturday.

Twenty-nine people were arrested for drug and alcohol-related offenses Saturday, police said. No major problems, however, were reported.

Garcetti has said the event will generate more than $12 million and create 2,500 jobs during the weekend. Concert promoter Live Nation has promised to pay for the clean-up.

Grand Park will reopen to the public on Tuesday.
