Maritime training teaches law enforcement defense tactics in water

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police go through extensive training on defense tactics and hand-to-hand combat on land, but maritime training teaches officers to fight crime in the water.

The nation's only maritime training center for police is in Southern California.
