While Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks may be the one of the most talented running backs in the NFL, he's a man of few words when it comes to talking with the press.
Marshawn Lynch offered very short responses to reporters at Super Bowl XLIX Media Day on Tuesday but offered very few words, saying "I'm just here so I won't get fined" every time Lynch was asked a question.
"I'm just here so I don't get fined, so y'all can sit here and ask me all the questions y'all want to, I'm going to answer with the same answer, so y'all can shoot if y'all please," Lynch preluded before reporters started asking questions. But even after receiving the same response over and over again, reporters keep asking Lynch about the upcoming game, with the Seahawks running back saying "I'm here so I won't get fined" 29 times.
Lynch has been known to offer short non-answers when asked questions by the media. The star running back had been fined $50,000 in November 2014 after violating the league's media policy by not being available for post-game interviews, according to ESPN.
The New England Patriots will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX on February 1.
