Mission Viejo bank robbery suspect sought

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. -- A bank robber is on the run after he brandished a weapon at a Chase bank in Mission Viejo and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.



The incident happened at a branch on Alicia Parkway Tuesday afternoon.



The suspect showed the teller a note demanding cash and flashed a silver revolver.



It's unclear how much money he ran off with.



The robber is described as an African-American man in his 40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 245 pounds.
