Skiers join world record lesson at Mountain High

WRIGHTWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- A lot of Southern California skiers got a chance to be in the record books on Friday as the ski school at Mountain High was one of several across the country taking part in the world's largest ski and snowboarding lesson.

On Friday, some hit the slopes with their teachers to try to get in the record books, while some skiers had no idea they'd be part of a world record.

Others had not been skiing in years but got a little encouragement to get back on the mountain.
