ORANGE, Calif. (KABC) -- Investigators from the Orange Police Department said Wednesday one of the three bodies found inside a burning SUV has been positively identified.
Authorities would not release the name of the victim, but confirmed the he was a Hispanic man in his 20s who was sitting on the front passenger's seat.
The coroner was working to identify the other two victims, who were found in the backseat, through fingerprints, DNA and dental records.
Authorities said although they have leads, no other information was being released as of Wednesday.
Witnesses said the GMC Yukon was already fully engulfed in flames traveling down the street Monday afternoon, with no driver inside when the SUV finally came to rest in front of a home in the 500 block of East Oakmont Avenue.
The only description of the driver available was that it was a man. Anyone with information is urged to call the Orange Police Department at (714) 744-7444.
