LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 25-year-old man was killed when he allegedly ran towards traffic on the southbound 101 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles and was struck by a car, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The man was found face down on the freeway near Beaudry Avenue at about 1:40 a.m. Sunday. A witness told officers that the man was running in lanes and in front of cars before he was struck.
The driver fled the scene. A witness described the car as a black Honda Accord.
