PERRIS, Calif. (KABC) -- Three robbery suspects were arrested large after a deputy-involved shooting Tuesday in Perris, officials said.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department said the shooting occurred after a robbery was reported at a recycling business at the intersection of West Orange Avenue and North Perris Boulevard around 11 a.m.
No deputies were injured in the incident, officials said.
Nearby schools were placed on lockdown while authorities went searching door-to-door for one suspect who had fled after the confrontation with deputies. That third suspect was arrested later that afternoon.
