2 pursuit suspects taken into custody after chase

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man and woman were taken into custody after leading Los Angeles police in a pursuit across city streets and the 110 Freeway Friday night.

The chase began at 3rd Street and Beaudry Avenue in downtown Los Angeles at about 7 p.m. The suspect was driving a white pick-up truck and led police across surface streets and the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles and Silverlake.

At 7:35 p.m., the male suspect exited the vehicle and surrendered to police near Bellevue Avenue and Hoover Street. Minutes later, a female passenger also exited the vehicle and surrendered. Both suspects were taken into custody.
