Class teaches pyrotechnic safety to movie business workers

These days moviegoers want more bang for their buck. With movie tickets costing nearly $20, that's a lot of bangs.

Making those bangs safely is the subject of a class run by state officials for more than 20 years.

The class teaches safety techniques in the use of fire, explosions and other effects to film pyrotechnic workers.
