LAPD investigating officer-involved shooting in Arleta

ARLETA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police were investigating an officer-involved shooting of a man in Arleta on Thursday night.

Officers responded to a call about a man with a knife who was possibly suicidal at about 10:30 p.m. in the 13200 block of Reedley Street. It was not immediately clear what led up to the shooting.

The suspect was injured during the shooting and was taken to a hospital. No officers were hurt.
