Alleged drunk driver slams into bus in downtown LA

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing into a Metro bus in downtown Los Angeles Thursday night.

The crash occurred at 5th and Flower streets around 11:30 p.m. The suspect's SUV was badly damaged in the collision.

Two bus passengers were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.
