SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A 37-year-old Anaheim man has been arrested for murder after a body was found inside a Santa Ana apartment.

Authorities were called to the apartment complex in the 1300 block of North Harbor Boulevard at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday after residents reported finding their roommate, a man in his 50s, dead inside their apartment. The man's name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The preliminary investigation led officers to question Salvador Barragan, an acquaintance of the victim. Barragan was arrested on Thursday and booked for murder. He is being held on $1 million bail.

The motive is unknown at this time. No further information was released.
