SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles firefighters made quick work of a slow-moving brush fire in Sherman Oaks Friday afternoon.
The two-acre blaze was reported in the 14600 block of W. Deervale Place, north of Mulholland Drive, at about 4:30 p.m.
Nearby homes were not threatened due to firefighters' quick efforts and proper brush clearance, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was knocked down by 75 firefighters in about an hour.
