Valley chase ends with suspect yanked out of SUV

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A dangerous high-speed police chase in the Valley ended with officers forcibly removing the suspect through the vehicle window.

The pursuit began around 9 a.m. The black Ford Explorer was seen driving on the wrong side of the road, swerving in and out of lanes and nearly crashing into other vehicles.

The chase ended when the suspect crashed through traffic at Reseda Boulevard and the 101 Freeway at 9:20 a.m. Officers moved in and dragged the driver out of the SUV.

It was not immediately known what prompted the chase. No further information is available.
