LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. (KABC) -- A 20-year-old daycare employee who also lived at the facility was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a minor in Lake Elsinore.

Jacob Blas was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and booked into the Southwest Detention Center in lieu of $3 million on Thursday after authorities began investigating allegations of sexual abuse of a minor.

The incident allegedly occurred at Rea Family Daycare, a licensed facility in a single-family home in Bella Aliza where Blas lived.

According to authorities, the abuse occurred in 2015 while a minor attended the daycare. Lake Elsinore detectives are working with Child Protective Services and the Department of Social Services to find any additional victims in the case.

Rea Family Daycare has been in operation since 2012 and in that time it's been issued six minor health and safety violations with no complaints filed, according to public records.

A social services person said the daycare has not been shut down, but an exclusion order was issued for Blas from returning to the home.
