LA CRESCENTA, Calif. (KABC) -- An elderly man has been found dead with apparent blunt force trauma in La Crescenta.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department homicide detectives responded at about 1:30 p.m. Friday to the 3000 block of Frances Avenue to investigate the death of a 73-year-old man.
No suspect information was immediately available.
The victim was identified Sunday as Arthur Palmer. Sheriff's deputies said he was found dead inside the attached garage of his residence.
On Saturday, neighbor Veronica Toro left flowers at the home.
"We're a good, tight neighborhood here. We're very close. We care about one another. I just felt like I should come pay my respects," Toro said.
